Andrew – or ‘Andy’ as he is normally referred to – is a freelance designer, with particular focus on industrial, product, packaging and exhibition design. He has a strong focus on the areas of sustainability and consumption, previously winning awards from the Royal Society of Art, and coming runner up for New Designer of the Year in 2007.
Andrew believes we need to take responsibility for the waste we produce, encouraging good habits rather than enforcing them, and the key to achieving sustainability is to champion reduction and reuse over recycling, with a strong focus on local sourcing, production, distribution and consumption.
